Re-finishing wooden arrows?

hi everyone,
i have some wooden Hexshaft arrows that i dont like the cresting or the crowning. is it possible to completely refinish an already finsished arrow ?  lol  and if so ...HOW ?? please ??

lar43 is right but you could chuck them up in your drill motor, sand them down and refinish but bear in mind, that would change the spine...the hex shafts do not take kindly to heavy sanding action in my experience...
i was told by a sales person, when purchasing an out-of-date newpaper that it was out-of-date...

i told her "i've been told i'm out-of-date, too"...

does that mean i'm up-to-date?

Dip them full length in a solid color paint, then crest. I've even spray painted shafts when I wanted to change how they looked.

...or you could just dip/spray the crowned and crested end of the arrow with a solid paint color.  Then just recrest over the top.  As for the fore-end of the shaft, I'd just leave it be.

Building new ones is too much fun.  Challenge your buddies with some difficult targets until they break!  "See that little tuft of grass next to that rock.....?"
