Hey guys, I'm not necessarily totally serious about this...well maybe...but I was looking at a bunch of that silver baloon material and stretched it tight and it made a respectable mirror.  They I started wondering...(does anyone else just spend a lot of time wondering?)what would happen if a tom turkey was responding to a call and noticed another tom turkey looking at him and mimicing everything he did.  Do you think it would tick him off enough to come a little closer?

The mirror would be pretty good camo as it would simply look like more brush.  I suppose it won't work.  What I'll end up with is a bunch of hens checking out their feathers and asking if their plumage makes them look fat.

I wouldn't want to be sitting in it if there are any other turkey hunters within a mile.

For hunting to have a future, we must invest ourselves in future hunters.

Dan,

They use mirror blinds to study some types wildlife. The mirrored blinds are box shaped with the mirrors angled out at the top. This makes them show a reflection of the leaves, sticks, weeds or other vegitation on the ground. They are all but impossible to spot.

The military is working on a suit with LEDs on the front and cameras on the back and bottom. The image from the camera is read and projected on the front.

Dan,

I have a very good friend that's in a wheelchair.  When he was bowhunting, he had a mirror blind that he used.

We would set it up tilted so that it reflected the ground in front of him.  When you looked his way, all you could see was a floating head.  it blended perfectly.

It was terrible in the wind though.  About it's only drawback.
