The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

OK, that quiver is nice but a little plain.  If you send me the quiver, I'll attach a sheath & forged knife to it.  I wouldn't want Mel's arrows to be all by themselves  :)   Something like this...Doc

Jeff,   That background sure is dazzling today!
Love that peek-a-boo knife on that quiver....very nice set up!

P.S. Dano... you are simply wonderful  :)

Terry, I did a TX Sweat Knife that everyone signed for the St Judes Auction.  If you like, we could pass the bow auction knife around for the team to sign.  It could also be out of osage to match the bow.  This is the TXS knife before everyone signed it...Jeff

I can make the armguard to match the quiver if I could get my hands on a piece of the same leather.  David, would you like to do a little swapping?
Doug

vermonster13

I'll see if Art(Razorbak) has a piece that matches. If he does I'll get it sent to you.

Doug,  If you want the quiver first and have some leather to match go right ahead.  I still have to make up a knife.  If you have matching leather save me a small piece for the outer layer of the sheath.

If you don't have matching leather, I may have some or we can buy a piece.  I'll split the cost with you...Jeff

Don't buy anything yet. I'm pretty sure Art will have a piece to match and he owes me a favor or three.    ;)

Heck, no one said anything about osage.  I was think of cutting down the silver maple in the front yard for this bow  :)   Oh well, hate to disappoint.  Osage it is.  I think I have the perfect stave for it too.  I'll start the page after the weekend.  Great job guys!  Way to step up!!!!!
Take a kid hunting!

Two questions:
1) Do you want pictures of the forging process?
2) Once I attach the sheath to the quiver, that determines RH or LH quiver. So I quess I should have it all done and wait to see if a righty or lefty buys the package?

John, I can do the handle out of that silver maple  :)   Jeff
