Can anyone help me out? I need to get hold of a few pieces of mesquite wood. I could really use 4 boards, about 8"x4" and around 1/2"-3/4" thick.

It's just not available at all in the UK (apart from chippings for the BBQ!) & I've got acouple of 'special' knives to make that I'd really like to use this wood for.

I'm quite happy to pay whatever anyone wants for 4 slabs, plus shipping to the UK. Please help to make these knives special for their prospective owners!

Thanks!

(I meant to 'borrow' some from Curtis's woodpile, but didn't have the room in my luggage     to brngany back from Texas!)

Man I bet those are gonna be some sweet knives! I'm betting for the TX Sweat fellas!! Good luck Rob, I just used up some nice pieces of mesquite that I took back from TX with me when I was there, otherwise I would have sent them to ya free of charge. I just love looking at your beautiful knives bro!

GOOD LUCK! Somebody will hook ya up on here...I am sure of it!

Rob,
Let me see what I can find. Shoot me a PM with your address. Probably won't be till next week though.

Mesquite is nice looking wood, but it's very heavy. Be prepared for some serious shipping charges to the UK.
