...At Classic Bowhunting Co.

They've given me a very generous opportunity to be sort of a "field tester" for one of their new bows.

They sent this to me to "have some fun" with it. I certainly will do that. It arrived on Sat. and I shot it sunday quite a bit.

I'm short for time now,but I'll post some pix and leave you with this.....This bow is a powerhouse!!

Brent and Mark, Thank you so much for the opportunity........I'll certainly "have some fun"

You sure they didn't send you a bow made for Brunner by mistake? LOL

Now another thread I need to watch.

CURT;
I KNEW YOU WOULD LIKE THEM STATIC TYPE LIMBS ! NICE LOOKING BOW.

cjones

I love the limb profile but there is noway i could shoot that grip. I like a very narrow throated, medium high wrist grip. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the bow.

Well, let's see, the master turkey hunter gets a 48" powerhouse just in time for the spring season.  Can anyone guess what the definition of "have some fun" might be?

I too can not wait to hear your honest feedback about the Sheepeater.  That little bow has caught my attention in a serious way.  Give it heck and put it through the paces.  And enjoy it too.  Great opportunity.  Thanks for the pics.

These bows handle a long draw amazingly well too!! I've shot bows a foot longer that couldnt my draw near as well.

Hey Alex...,  :wavey:  I was just asking about you the other day.  Thought you moved up into the Absoroka, never to be heard from again.  Moved back to Tenn. I see.  Hope things are good with you and your family and nice to see you here.

Curt...you are gonna have to put that baby through her paces and tell me (us) what you think.  It didnt take me long to adapt to the grip on mine and I have been shooting it as good as any 60" bow I've owned at hunting distances.  I slapped on some sticky moleskin under the string and some llama string slilencers and she's real quiet too.  Unbelievable shooting qualities all the way around with my 520 gr. arrows.  Been shooting almost everyday and I'm still impressed. Nuff about me...lookin forward to hearin about your fun with the short bow.

Randy.

Great looking bow. It's on my short list. Curt, you should do some freelance photography for most of the bowyers websites.Your photos of the bow let's a perspective customer know what he's looking at.

I got to shoot em,at the expo, and visit with Brent and Mark, about em.

Howdy, Randy! Enjoyed your bear hunt article. Was that the same hunt I kept threatening to go along on but never did? Maybe we should pen a story together..."West Boulder Gophers, the New Dall Ram". I dunno, I just dont think they would buy it.   :D

I'll say it again, dont let a long draw scare you off of this little sweety. I was fortunate to be around during the development of this bow and it really is remarkable.

You will swear its a toy right up until the arrow leaves the string. Static tips + short working limb = a vapor trail! I'm sure the bow has only gotten better and these are two great guys. Glad to have had them as friends.

I've got one and they are AMAZING! I'll post a picture in a week or so, I told Brent and Mark I would, but...there was gonna be a dead critter in the frame also. So give me a week. That's when gobbler season opens in Kansas. Ralph
