I aquired a 62in. moab this week and was wondering about the brace height..  Is it the same as the Thunderstick III..  7 to 7 1/4 in.?
thanks very much,  Jim  :help:

Terry Green

6.5 or is where my 60 incher is, and where Jim says it should be....I'd guess that or maybe 6.75 for a 62 incher.

7 sounds a little high.....might want to email Jim and ask.

Thanks Terry, I appreciate your help..  It was set at 7.5 when I got it and it just didn't feel quite right when I shot it for the first time last night..  I'll drop down to 6.5 and I bet it will feel much better...  Jim

Mine seems to like 7, but I recall Jim saying around 6.5- 7.5 was the norm, I'm still tinkering...good luck with a great bow!!

I have the 60" model and Jim said 6.25-6.5" was were it performed best.  I set it right in the middle.  On the longer model I'd start at the low end and work up 0.25" at a time.

Wudstix

I measure mine from the curve/throat of the grip.

MIne is set at 6 3/8 from the edge of the shelf( closet to the string).
...stood alone on a montaintop, starin out at a great divide, I could go east, I could go West, it was all up to me to decide, just then I saw a young hawk flyin and my soul began to rise......

Just got my 60" MOAB two weeks ago.  Jim told me between 6.5 and 7".  Mine is whisper quite at 6 5/8"

Wudstix

I set my 60" at 6 3/8" with the Quivet string silencers in @13" from the string grooves and it is real quiet with my 600 grain arrows.
