Does anyone by chance know what an empty .38 case weighs?   Bill

Killdeer

Roughly between 66 and 70 grains, depending on manufacturer, plating etc. I didn't bother with an aluminum case.

Killdeer has it right, I didn't have a 38 handy, but found a 357, and it came in at 80 gr's
