Spraying bows is becoming less of a mystery with each spray session! This one came out best yet...I'm finally getting a finish down!

Then there's this alternative!

My dad had some of this decal stuff after "pimping" his little hunting motorhome with camo...seems to work nice over black glass/carbon.

I've got lights shining on that "shiny" one from all directions. That is the flattest finish I could get my hands on, and in your hands, it is very flat!

Nice job, great finish!!
If I may ask Ernie, what type of finish do you use and how do spray it on? Currently I'm using automotive can spray laquer which suits me well.

V, its a 2 part auto clear coat..you can get them at most automotive stores. Mine is from Napa...actually 3 parts with the thinner...gotta spray it with a gun...or paint it on but lots of sanding to do after that.

Good stuff Ernie, I saw Ron last weekend and he was proud of what you done with them bows. Says they are real shooters.

Ernie, does it go on glossy and then you sand it out flat? I've been using the t-bird. Have the gloss and flat. Honestly, the flat dries just a glossy as the gloss. I have to buff it down to make it flat and it still looks more like satin when I'm finished. Be nice if I could spray it and be done. By the way, I love that finish. Of course on bows that nice, even dried mud would look good. Mike
