Archery Chronograph

I'm looking to document just how slow my arrows go.    Maybe even shoot a few rifles through a chronograph.   Wondering which model chronograph the TradGangsters like/use?

I'm leaning toward this one: "Shooting Chrony Gamma Master Chronograph which includes a remote LCD monitor and Ballistic Printer".  Any comments/suggestions?

I now have a Pact Model 1 that I like very well.

Go with the most basic Chrono.  I had the fancy one with the printer and never used all the extra stuff.  Basically, what you need is a chrono that will easily register the arrow speed in all light conditions.  Get the basic unit with the optional lights for low light conditions.

Pact has a website, just do a search for them.
Dachba is right, you don't need the bells and whistles for occaisional use.  The easier to set up, the more you'll use it.

I have a Pact with the printer built in. It sometimes shows inconsistant speeds or an error when chronographing arrows. I suspect it has to do with the arrow going thru its parrodox and not giving a clear signal. Has anyone else had this happen? Maybe one of the other brands is more consistant for arrows....  Jim

I bought a brand new 240.00 crono and got to use it one time. I held my bow to low and put a arrow right through the guts of it. It cost me 240 bucks, but now I know my 70lb Silvertip with a 2219 arrow and 250 gr on the head, will shoot through a radio. I'm done with those rascals.
