Looking at the pattern again, it made me think of flamed cedar or flamed juniper veneers for bow limbs, so how about,

Not sure if this one has been thrown out yet, but as I was putting wood in my outdoor woodstove tonight I stopped and looked up and listened, the area I live is predominately oak hardwoods with white pine and balsams. It made me think back to some of my late season sits when I was tucked into pines or cedars, and how peaceful it was listening to the wind, so short story long...
