Bourbon Oak.I will drink to that.

But might fall down a hill.Out of treestand.Or get really turned around.

Or one deer turns into 2 blury deer and I dont know which one to shoot at.

Boubon Oak would be good around the campfire :)

Here is the pattern on a Pathfinder.

Thanks all, great stuff so far. This may seem like a simple thing, but this pattern was designed while Fred was still with us. Teresa and I were talking yesterday, and we agreed that this is one of the best. Fred would have loved it.

He wouldn't have named it right away....Teresa would have hung a piece of it in his office, and he would have thought about it as he read and wrote.

When Timber Ghost came out, I happened to be at the house when Teresa brought it in to Fred. We quickly went outside....hung it in the bushes, in trees, high up in a tree to simulate a treestand....it was neat.

Keep the ideas coming folks, it is very much appreciated.

I'm going to throw one out there.....this has been in my head for awhile.

I was looking at a piece of property not terribly far from Fred and Teresa's place prior to him getting sick. I had thought about it being a great place for a quick "ground hunt"....and had invisioned taking Fred there.

As things happened, I didn't buy it until a few weeks after Fred passed. I hunted it this fall, and certain things struck me that I know he would have enjoyed. There is a stream that runs through the property, and the best place to cross is adjacent a large burl on a cedar tree. "Cross at the burl" is something Fred would have liked. Looking through my pictures, I don't have one of the burl, but this is the creek. It's full of tiny brook trout, cold and clean.

My suggestion is Cedar Creek.....

Roger ,
That is one of the very best patterns I've seen yet.
I love it and can see why Fred did as well.
He has good taste and married himself a sweet lady who has a talent
      "Fred's Classic Gentleman's Cedar Jacket"
You can almost smell the cedar/pine scent on that jacket .
Great pattern Mrs. T .
