Has anyone used Simmons broadheads on elk? Which model? Bow poundage, etc. Any pictures?

fisherick

Apparently no one here has used Simmons broadheads on elk sized game.

I have some Centaur Big Game heads that are similar to Simmons, and would not hesitate to shot one through an elk.

I'm looking to use my Centaur Big Game heads on some good size Texas hogs.  Do not anticipate any long blood trails.

There was a member here "trumpkindwarf" or something like that who did.  He is one of the few members on here who has a longer draw than me at 33".  He did a write up close to ten years ago.
