The climber is back for the new low price of only $999.99! Insane!

bama

Couple it with their $150 waist pack and $60 backpack straps and you will be set.

WOW!!!!

Glad I didn't sell any of mine as I'm now sitting on a fortune!!!

That's CRAZY! I have a Alpha and the Assault hand climber sure glad I bought them years ago. I thought they were expensive then I'd never pay that much for a treestand. I compound fractured my lower right leg hanging a stand for a friend in Sept of 2021( my fault for not wearing a harness) just had my 5th surgery May 18th due to a infection! I'm pretty much ground hunting now but going to keep my climbers. They are awesome!

I guess I'm odd but I've had several LW climbers and just never liked them. The belts are too flimsy and hang on any tiny limb while climbing. The seat is uncomfortable.
Yes they fold flat and are easy to Carry but I just don't care for them, I've tried to like them.. Now their hang on stand I've had for 25+ years and love it , although I suspect there are better options available now.

I agree. They were not or me either.

I wouldn't spend the money on them back a few years when they were $350-400.  Now I sure won't spend what they want.  I'm not much of a fan of climbing stands anyway.

I guess we should have seen it coming.  Once they made broadheads available with 3 easy payment.  :saywhat:

Bobby,that's a good one. :biglaugh:

Thankfully, at my age I'm well past using climbers. And, when I did Summits were much more comfortable anyway.

I have a couple of lone wolfs.  I liked then for going in deep.

But for normal hunting, the Summit Allstar was my favorite. Very bowhunter friendly and comfortable.

I still have one, and would still use it today.

I've got a very well used line wolf assault.  Too many hours in trees with it to count.  I'm 61 and can still race a grey squirrel to the top of a tree with it.  Years ago I thought the $375 or so I paid for it was a lot, but I've more than gotten my money's worth.  If I were to sell I could easily recoup most of my money ( they sell pretty fast in my area).  I don't know of much other gear that works as well and holds its value as well.  999. Does seem like a lot, but if it's anything like mine, I'd say, if your young enough that'll amortize well over 3 or 4 decades.

supernaut

I really like my Lone Wolf Assault hand climber. It's hands down the best all around portable I've ever used and I've had a bunch in the 39 seasons I've been climbing trees archery hunting.

I was able to snatch up a couple sets of extra belts a few years ago thanks to a tip from a friend so I should be set until I'm done climbing trees with any luck.

The new offering looks pretty nice. $999 worth of nice? I don't know but I wish them luck.

If anyone gets one, please let us know what you think.  :campfire:

Go get a Novix instead - they're probably just as good and much more affordable.

Does Novix make a climbing stand?  I couldn't find one on their website.
