Black Widow Bow Raffle-PLEASE READ POST #4 (post edited 2/11/23)

The Grumpy Old Archers is a group of like-minded traditional archers based in west central Indiana. We are raffling off a custom Black Widow Bow to benefit the Emmanuel Community Life Center, located in rural West Terre Haute, Indiana.

The CLC (Community Life Center) is a building that is available for local groups, churches and individuals to use for meetings, bereavement/memorial dinners and family gatherings. Fees to use this facility are minimal and for youth groups (Scout troops, 4H etc.), memorial and bereavement dinners there is no fee.

Our group is raffling off a custom Black Widow bow, made to the winner's specifications. Value of the bow is $1300, which includes the standard bows in Black Widow's catalog. The winner can upgrade to exotic woods or carbon at an additional cost. All the proceeds from this raffle will go to help the CLC with mortgage payments and maintenance.
We are offering 300 tickets at $10 per ticket or 3 tickets for $25. Tickets are on sale now and the drawing will be held on April 15th. Ticket purchases should be made with a check. Private message me for any questions and complete info on ticket purchases.

Thank you to all that have requested tickets so far. I am new to doing this raffle stuff and not very good on a computer, so please bear with me!  I know I am not explaining this very well, but I am trying!

Some folks have said they would like 5 tickets, which would be $45. The 3 for $25 carries through for every 3 tickets you buy, so 3 for $25, 6 for $50, 9 for $75, 12 for $100 and so on. This is a better deal for the buyer. We will most definitely sell whatever number of tickets you'd like, but we want to be sure that you take advantage of the lower price for tickets sold in groups of 3!

If I have not responded to you by private message here on Trad Gang, please notify me on this post and I will message you ASAP. Thanks again! Mike

Just to help clear any confusion, in your original post it says 5 tickets for $25. In post #4, it says 3 tickets for $25. You might want to go fix whichever one is in error to make it clearer for everyone reading!

Well if they are $10 each then 3/$25 makes a whole lot more sense than 5/$25.  But, sometimes not everything makes sense.
