Hello all.  It's been another year down, making it 17 years Maddog Traditional Archery has been in business.  I'm blessed to have had a hand in kids getting their first bows, and building bows that have been part of putting meat on the table.  It's been great and I loved the support from those on Tradgang.

But, it's time to start a new chapter of my life and do something else.  So I'll be closing it down around March- May time frame.  Between now and then I'll continue to build and use as much of my materials I have on hand.  I'm ending it on a good note, and in the black, and owning nothing to the banks.   I'm not in poor health or anything, and all aspects of my life are positive and in tact.  No other reason than it's time to move on, work less, live more, and stuff like that.   Thanks to all of you who have gave me work over the last 17 years.

Yep....listen to the heart .....

Everyone owe's you and other bowyers a great deal of Thanks....Being a Bowyer is a high health risk job/hobby...Due to the material's being used...No matter the precautions , it always will come with very serious health risk.

...Thank You Mike for all the beautiful bows/weapons you have built over these many years. Many  of which  will outlast all of us . Building life long memories everytime they are taken afield...........

Best in the New Chapter of your life....Enjoy it to the fullest !

sincerely,
