Does anyone have a 2216 insert they can measure the overall length. I'm about to buy some 31" arrows with inserts installed and need to make sure I have enough length to cut them at 29.75- 30" and place new inserts. Thanks!

Easton 2216 insert full length measures 27/32" with 13/16" of the insert actually inside the shaft.
That's what I get YMMV.

Can you pull the inserts that are already installed before you cut the shafts?
I had a really good group going... until I shot the second arrow.

My best bows are the ones someone else didn't want.

I would guess they are Aluminum shafts. A little heat and pull them out. Make sure you clean the inside of the shafts well before you put them back in. I would recommend a hot melt glue. Yea you can use supper glue bit they are not coming back out to easy if at all.
