Thinking about a new custom take down.

Wanting Hedge/Osage Orange and a darker wood or black combo on the riser.

Maybe Osage orange on the back of limbs if possible??

Dark colored face on limbs.

Anybody else have something similar to this color scheme?

Pics?

I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

Did a quick search on the net and found a bow or two with this combination.  Very sharp looking for sure.

Like this as a riser combo now I need to figure out what I want for back and belly of the limbs.

My favorite take down has a cocobolo riser with osage orange overlays and bamboo limb cores with mountain juniper veneers and antler from a buck that I shot with my one piece

I am with the osage orange and coco bolo crowd.

Osage is wonderful and goes with so many color combos. We have done a bunch over the years. It looks great with just black,  or woods like Rosewood Walnut Wenge cedar and a bunch of others.

Osage and cocobolo will be the most popular. Another choice would be zircote.

I would go with a light color like maple because it will look great as the osage darkens.
