Terry, you are thinking along with me. I think a sling pack is a very good small pack way to go. I want one that is quiet and easy to use.

Saw these at cloverdale several years ago. Really sharp. I should've gotten one!

I put in an order yesterday. Tom had what I wanted in stock.

I've always wanted one.  Being mostly a deer hunter, I like quiet fabrics.  I'm also a fan of lumbar designs.  The only thing that concerns me when I look at them, is lack of load bearing support or "lifters".  Seems it could get floppy under some weight.  Any insight?

For reference, I use a Blacks Creek Cure.

Not sure if this is what you mean. You can pack out a lot of meat in these packs. Cinch them down tight. These straps on my Lemhi takes the weight off the pack and on to my shoulders [attachment=1]

So how does one make an order without calling the number shown in the first post.  Don't do facebook either.

My Pack Idaho has been my steady hunting bag since well,  a  long time.   The bag has some ware and tear on it.   I've hand sewn some repairs in a few places.  I even have a backquiver, although in reality not a useful option to me.  Really love the wool material.

But not knowing if and when Bison Gear was ever going to be back and thinking of retiring or keeping the Pack Idaho as back up or for my son, I went ahead a bought something else.

Kifaru was having a limited run of Hellcats last summer and so I got one in mulitcam.

I'd like to look at website where I can see some options, look at costs, perhaps buy one.
