He was very active here and contributed a lot of good info, I discovered as I have been going thru the archives.
Anybody know what happened to him?

Seems a lot of people spend quite a bit of time here and then disappear.

I think I see him on archery groups on FB...  Eric I believe is the first guy I messaged online when I  first started making bows...

Eric's still around. I see him on PA quite often. He's been working on black powder stuff lately.

Glad to hear he is still kicking. Wonder why he bailed on this forum?

He's not on here all the time, just in and out. He doesn't build glass bows but still likes to hang with us.
He builds Bamboo backed bows.

I wouldn't say Eric "bailed" on TG.  Like several of us, he has a wide range of interests and spends the most time on his current passion.

Just thought I would check back in, bottom line there is not much on the TG that interests me anymore, too redundant or not much bow making that I am interest in, I don't make glass lam bows.

Yea a lot of the bow forums have shut down over the years and bow building has slowed down on here too

Yeah, I get that. It's hard to maintain interest unless you embrace all the diverse styles and techniques of Bowyering.
I suppose most of these forums have a speciality focus. This one does seem to be oriented toward glass covered, R/D and Recurve bows. But there is always something to be learned and knowledge to be shared.

It's my thought that gas and groceries are at the top of fun spending list with this inflation...
Stay sharp, Kenny.
