I found this bow up on a shelf after my father past away in January. I remember my dad telling me about some of the hunting my uncle and my dad went on back when they were teens using bare bows. From what I have learned so far it looks like the bow was made between 1953 and 1955 but I would really like the help of our guys that shoot Bear bows, I'm sure you have a much better idea.

1959-1961 due to handle shape. Someone more familiar with that model will know the year. Picture of sight window and tips will help date it.

Thanks for the input, I can email Bear, I know or use to know a lot of guys who shot Bear bow on Trad gang and thought it would be a quick post and answer.

I'm pretty sure it's a 59.  That was the only year for the copper emblem.  The 22 was probably a club stamp of some sort.

Yep 59  and the 22 stamp was put on the bow at thr plant designating a factory defect.
