I have 3 bows that I intend to hunt with next season. One is my 65# at 28" pull (I only draw 25"). I shoot 65# spine wooden arrows with 2 blade broadheads, razorheads and Zwickey. My second bow is a Howard Hill Cheetah. It is 55# at 28" draw. I use wood 50-55 or 55-60 arrows with 2 blade heads. It seems to like them both. My third bow is my 53# at 28" draw Northern Mist Shelton using wood 50-55# arrows. The Northern Mist bow will probably see the most use, as it has for the last several seasons.

Probably, hunt my 60" MOAB 62#@27" DL plus 3/8", or Big River D/R longbow 65#@27" DL plus 3/8" either with footed tapered cedar shafts and 190 grain 3 blade heads.  Or 62" Kota Badlands 72#@28" and tapered Red Ballau shafts with 170 grain Centaur heads for hogs.

I will be deer hunting mostly with my Primal Tech 3pc longbow. I'm having some weight taken off of it as we speak, and it should end up about 41@29. I also acquired a new selfbow that I really want to take a critter with; deer or pig; it dosen't matter. It's right at 40# also.

I'm prob dif than most in that I switch time to time. It really doesn't take more more than a few shots to get the feel of another bow. At least mine anyhow and I take close shots anyhow. Right now I'm shootings a 57lb Robertson primal styk the most but who knows tomorrow. In the past week I've shot 3 dif bows. Just something I enjoy.

Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

For me it will be my 58" Toelke Whistler 46# @ 27".
520gr Easton Axis Traditional with 175gr VPA, 25gr collar and 60gr insert.
Arrow was at 530gr but I got a SBD 6 strand string and I had to trim off some arrow to get back in tune. Thinking the deer won't notice.

Debating on either a 58" Kanati 51@28 or a 60" Black Hunter MK1 55@28, both shooting 30" 2219's with 175 grains up front. Did order some Easton 6.5mm Bowhunter shafts to try as well. Both bows are shooting very well, I need to do more testing with broadheads on the arrows to finalize the deal. And on the days when I want to go a bit naked I'll use my Osage self bow I made with Wild Rose arrows and single bevel trade point heads.
I love this time of year and all the fun sorting out the rig.

SS Snuffer

Got to say, love all my bows ,but got to say cold 1st shot is always best with the Black Hunter Long bow!
40 lbs. At 28" Axis 500 29 1/2" 300 up front, 200 grn. Grizzly single bevel.
My Kanati is really sweet. It's my late season bow.

This year I'll be bowhunting with my new to me 1971 55#@28" Bear Super Magnum. I'll be shooting either my german spruce arrows or my 2016 aluminum arrows. I'm not sure which ones yet.  :dunno:
