Help! All I see is red X's! Why?

I am computerly challenged, I know, but, I use to be able to see everyones pics that are embedded in their ads, and stories here on the 'Gang...but now all I have is little red X's in a white box where the pics are supposed to be...What happened??
It occurs on 95% of the pics that are posted...never had this problem before....

If you're at work could be big brother blocking them.  Big brother blocks some pics for me.

Don't fill bad, its been happing to me since I joined, I just gave up, the computer won. I'll just stick with bows and arrows

Left mouse click on "start" lower left screen.  Click on "control panel". Click on "internet options".  Click on top tab "security", set level to medium. Click top tab of "privacy", set to medium.   That should help.  If you are running some other firewall other than Windows, you're on your own.

Adm. is deleting anything larger than 640x480 picels. As it is overloading our site. With so many of us using the site.

Your "show pictures" on Internet Options might be unchecked. Go to "start", then "settings", then "Control Panel", then "Internet Options" then click on "advanced". Scroll down to "show pictures" and make sure it is checked.

I you are at work then call your Systems Admin folks and tell them you want to see the pics on Tradgang.  I'm sure they will hop to it        ...Van

Nope, nothing to do with image deletions.      When large images are moderated, either the entire UBB image code line is deleted or the link URL is left.        

If ya see li'l red X's, that means the code to see the image(s) is there, but either the image is gone or the link is incorrect or your net access is filtering and blocking some or all images (typically this happens on corporate LANS/WANS, etc.), OR your browser's image viewing option has been turned off.
