I always liked Wes's bows, shot one 10+ years ago  but never owned one of them. Please tell me about them. I don't hear much about them  .  :campfire: Any information would be appreciated.

I have two now. My first one was made along time ago. My new one is less than a month old. The only bow I can compare it to in all honesty is the Black Widow. The bow I just received has every option available except checkering of grip. If I had a one piece I would have gotten that option. The riser is Cocobolo with Cocobolo limb veneers. The biggest reason I bought the new one is it's less weight than the first one. Both bows are smooth to draw, 28", both bows are super quite with 9-10 gpp arrows, even carbons. The riser is cut to center so I can use a couple different spine arrows if I want.

Forget the comparison. I have shot a few BL longbows over the years. As for shooting both are close in my experience. Didn't care for Toby grip. BUT, I got every bell and whistle Wes offers for a little over a grand. BW's start at more than that and I had figured about $1400 + before I was done. Wes Wallace has superior customer service as well in my opinion. So do a lot of others but I know his, I know the bow, so I bought another.

I have a two piece Royal, and a lot of other bows, both recurve and longbow's, my Royal will be the very last bow  to leave me.  Not for sale or trade.

I have shot one for 10 years, and it is solid, tough, accurate, and very quiet.  It packs a punch.  Wes is very knowlegable and easy to talk with.  The price is VERY good for a bowyer of his skill and experience.  I have a new friend that has been shooting an  old original Bighorn recurve.  I showed him my collection of longbows that range over several styles and he locked in to the Royal and ordering one this month.

I had 2 (still have 1).  Very well made, beautiful and performs nicely.  The ones I had/have are both TD.  I liked his new sleeve system (think BW) better than the older style, but the old one is still my favorite to shoot.

I have one and really like it. I got mine off the classifieds for $325. It is 68" and 59@28. I've never thought about selling it.

If I buy another bow, it will likely be a Wes Wallace bow.  Great quality and good price.  Wes is a stand-up fellow.
