Brush Buttons!!!  :archer:

When I was a kid, all of my recurves had them on the string.
When I got back into this "Traditional" bowhunting about 20 years ago, (it was just "Bowhunting" in the 70's)
nobody had them on their bows. I couldn't find them anywhere. I pretty much forgot about them. (well, not really)

Then, I noticed on the "Show us your 10s" thread, that Randy (mnbwhtr) had Brush Buttons on his Bear T/D

It got me thinking..... I went to the 3Rivers site, looking around, and there they were!!! :bigsmyl:
I ordered 6 packages (only $2.99 each) and some other things, and well, they arrived today!!!
I got my new Mag-handle T/D and my bow stringer and put them on the string.
Then, I got my old Kodiak T/D and put a pair on that string....

Wow, did the old girl look sweet... Brought back memories. So, I took her out back and shot her for awhile.
All of my shots were right in "Bucky the Button Buck's" kill zone...  :archer2:
Quiet as a mouse, barely a "thump" on release.....

Old Woodchucker feels like a kid again!! :archer:
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

You'll have to find the vintage tan colored ones.  :bigsmyl:

The old tan ones didn't get rock hard like the new ones do. Of course everything dries out here in the desert before it's time. They were all we used back in the 60's and 70's but mainly to keep junk from getting snagged on the string grooves area. They sure look better than a bunch of fur or yarn balls hanging off the string.

Funny timing on this thread, I just got some brush buttons from 3 rivers archery yesterday. Got one set on DH Hi-Speed and will use the other pair on my Root Target Master.
