Steelhead

8125 is very good all around material. It has a little more give than some of the really stiff materials. Its easier on the bow.Very good for vintage bows if you choose FF over B-50 for that reason.Though I would recommend B-50 for old bows overall.14 to 16 strands is a pretty good strand count for most bows with 8125.

Border Archery does use it for thier recurves as well because its a little less harsh.

8125 is all I use on my selfbows, I put a continuous loop string on each one I build. I really dislike making strings almost as much as I dislike building arrows. But I enjoy building selfbows so it works for me.

I used Fastflight Plus for years, the last three bow I bought from Yellowstone Custom bows Rich has used Dynaflight 97 I was going to try some 8125 but the spec doesn't look that much difference than Fastflight. Just my 2 cents not saying one is better than the other.
