Has anyone tried putting a faux snakeskin under glass, or do they always go on the outside of the glass?  I was trying to figure out how to do it with an overlay on the back.  Would it work either way?

Haven't done it so this is a WAG but I think you could put thin cotton cloth under glass if you make sure to saturate it with glue. Synthetic materials I would not use . Just sayin...

I wouldn't do that. Snake skin is very fragile..

 It's Faux, Roy

I would think you could put it under glass as long as its not too thick, wets out with epoxy and won't bunch up when you try to spread cold honey(EA-40) on it.

My buddy Micheal Arnette at Tall Tines does this with camo material and makes camo limbs. Been thinking about giving it a try myself.

The faux snake is easy to miss.  They're sneaky fellas, so I've heard.

I know.  I want to try some of those carbon fiber weaves in lieu of glass.  I should probably start trying to do something besides build these things.

The snake pattern material can be used under clear glass, I have used camo and several other materials, including a kids bow with a sponge bob square pants print. Getting the stack right can be tricky. All of mine came in heavy.
