Little bit of shooting today

Played around with a light recurve after practicing with my main longbow:

Didn't drop my bow arm on that last shot.  The photographer just snoozed a little. Arrow struck the blade of grass looong prior.

And here's one of my first ever 30 shots with new longbow.

New bow shoots better than I do. I was stamping a vertical line all day, and could not be happier about it. Since I don't know the bow's trajectory yet. The only thing I could ask for today was no left-right deviation. Mission accomplished.
