Looks like it wants to become a bow. How wide are the tips in these pics and what will they end up at?

Mark

Roy from Pa

They are 5/8th now, going down to 1/2" or a tad narrower.

How much reflex do you loose after its shot in a while?

Good thing ya got this spare wood for winter. Your bows won't keep ya warm at the rate you build em  :biglaugh:

It will end up with about 1.5" reflex.

Crooked Stic

So do you have to radius the ramps on those risers. are they prone to popping off . Fill me in. There may come a time That I want to build one of these.  :dunno:
High on Archery.

Roy from Pa

They will be rounded off and tapered from limb to grip area.

No problem with them popping off.

Those pictures are on down the line.

After the photobucket debacle I stopped using the online storage sites.  For phone you can resize for the net on your phone and still keep the original size too.

I took the photo below,  resized and posted it in here while in the middle of writing the post.  Took less than a minute.

Gonna substitute hickory for bamboo.
What kind of thickness should I be looking for?
Should it be tapered?

Roy from Pa

1/8th thick.

Tapered would be nice but not necessary.
