String for Bear Cheyenne recurve

hello,
I need to order a New flemish string for a Bear Cheyenne recurve .
This bow is 55" amo , Wonder why Bear made this uncommon size for a recurve ...
Must i order a string custom made of 51 " ?
Will a regular string for 56" bow will fit by twisting it ?

I think if you bought it for a 56 inch bow you would have to twist it too much. I believe the length you're looking for is a 52 inch string.
