Prayers for a Friend and Fellow Archer Harry Angel

A friend of mine and to every one who knew him gave us some bad news day before yesterday. He has been undergoing treatment for lung cancer, then they found that it had gotten to his heart. Now his time is limited to just a few weeks at most. I met him about 10 years ago and watched him progress into a very good archer with the longbow. He was also a gifted bow builder, making them only for himself, family members, and a few friends. He made a lightweight longbow that was quiet, fast, and accurate. His friendship is what will be missed most.

A group of us (6-10 guys) got together every Tuesday night to test our skills for at least 3 hours of shooting our bows. Harry was always the first one there, and one of the last to leave. He was active in the local traditional club, and shot in all the local events. He shot in several IBO events, and some of you may have met him at one.

Please pray for Harry Angel. It's probably going to be tough for him and his wife,family, and friends. I'm sure that God loves him, and so do we.

Prayers up, very sorry to hear this. I've enjoyed many years of 3D's with Harry. Obviously this year's shoots were largely a bust and widely cancelled everywhere. I'd called him up just before the lock-downs to invite him to one and he told me his COPD had worsened and was severely limiting his mobility....was afraid then there was more to it.
