The taxidermist I go to did one just like that.  He's here in Florida though. Nice chair!

The wolves will find their way there eventually. No need to help them out any. Need to start shooting some of them.
Seems like up here I see fresh sign just about every time I go out. They're not scared of people anymore either since we can't hunt them. This year when I shot my buck they had everything cleaned up within a few hours of me shooting him. They had to have just been sitting there watching me gut it.

Reportedly, they are here already, in Moffatt County.  Area 201, if you know where that is.(NW corner of the state). Some dogooder organization wants to reintroduce them into other parts of the state. Ranchers in Wyoming have the right idea. Shoot, shovel, and shut up.

They were extirpated once.  I wonder why....  LOL

I have a video of one of three wolves that I had on my hayfield in Minnesota, November of 2018.  On the two days prior to taking the video we had seen 21 deer on my property.  The morning after there wolf tracks almost everywhere.

Hardly saw any deer on my property for the rest of the season. Interesting to see but I'd like a few deer also.

The photo/ video was taken with my smart phone.  I tried posting but it wouldn't go through.

Every time a pack moves through the area I'm hunting the deer leave for about a week before coming back through. I talked to one guy who hunts the same general area and he claims to have three different packs on camera during this deer season. I wouldn't doubt it based the number of tracks I see.

I've heard unconfirmed reports of environmentalists dropping off wolves in areas to further their causes.

I put this up as tounge in cheek... but the truth is the anti hunters have collected enough signatures to have introduction of wolves  put on a ballot this nov.  Ballot Box Biology...which is never good, better news is we have  ranchers, farmers, hunters, guides are all getting on the same page, to fight this. I dont need to tell anyone here what will happen to our deer and elk if we get wolves dumped on us. It has been documented for over 10 years now that we already have wolves that naturally migrated to this state, so if there is a saving grace this may be it, strange as it seems.

"Shoot, shovel and shut up" would be a federal felony under current law in Colorado and a violation of current hunting regulations in Wyoming. Not talking about it doesn't make it less criminal. Its just my opinion, but advocating poaching is not a sustainable approach to advancing traditional bowhunting or any hunting, for that matter, and it is probably the worst possible approach to opening up hunting for previously-endangered species.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

Sounds like a conspiracy theory to me.  And if it were actually true, they would be breaking all kinds of laws.

Shoot shovel and shut up, yes it is illegal, but when wolves directly affect your family and livelihood you might think twice. I don't directly have a dog in this fight (pun intended), but I know people who do. I hope it's ok to post a link here.
This is one of a five part study on wolves in Idaho, direct and indirect affect of wolves, interesting read.

Tater - thanks for posting the link. It helps me understand with greater appreciation the cost ranchers incur as a result of these legislative forays (as results from pressure from Disneyesque Believers/Idealogues).
