I took Zwickey for shots, then made sleds, lams,  custom riser blank, and boxed it all up!

Think she would have preferred either of those. She got a needle in 2 places but no complaint.  She weighs 102 today...

Hey Chris hope you'll be able to string it :dunno:

EvilDogBeast

Funny you should mention that Mark.  My stringer seems to be MIA after the move so I had to use the 'ole shin/thigh method and was barely able to get it to a 5" low brace   All of my tillering strings are too long to get it to full brace so I have to wait for one in the mail before finding true weight.

Initial results:

- 0.360" with Bearpaw clear makes 57.83# @ 28" on the new form (preliminary, expect 62-ish at full brace)
- 0.360" on old form (1" deflex and 1" reflex less than new) put out 63# @ 28" full brace with Gordons clear
- 6 lams between the glass is good for no springback, but in reality that only saved me 1/32" so it's not really worth the added layup effort

More to come once that string arrives.

Forwardhandle

Sorry to here that Roy I hate dental work, Chris looking good 👍🏻
If you fear failure, you will never try ! But never except it!!

Flem

Funny they call it an extraction, should be called an extortion.
Chris, you should get yourself a roll of B-50. You could have a string made up in minutes.

EvilDogBeast

Had one before the move, but that seems to be MIA as well unfortunately.  I suppose it's time to start tearing apart the storage room...

Some braid fishing line will work in a pinch.

It's not Tbird but I did wait 48h before sanding LIGHTLY. Had to lear it the hard way too.
I put 2 new coats on tonight.

Roy I had that dry socket thing once on wisdom tooth extraction. Went back they cleaned it out then put some white powder in there and instantly the pain went away. I have wondered from that day if the powder might have been cocaine  :dunno: :bigsmyl:
