This is the first successful bamboo backed bow I've made with a buddy down here in NE GA.  I've been messing with building bows for years, but being active duty, moving all the time in the plains states, I didn't get to do much since I only got staves if I had time to get off into the woods when visiting home, or buy one that may or may not be good quality online.  When I moved back home, I met a friend who was interested in trad bows too. Put together some tools, made a shop and now we're off to the races.  This was the first bow we've gotten done. We've got tons of materials, thanks to Mike, but most are green.  Guess I'll just shoot this in the mean time while the bamboo, Osage and mulberry dries lol.  Still trying to figure out how I wanna wrap the handle.

Merry Christmas!

I would rather fail at something above my means, than to succeed at something  beneath my means

If you fear failure, you will never try ! But never except it!!
