Ok, time for ideas.  Let's eliminate knives, broadheads, arrows, flashlights, headlamps.  What do you have that makes a difference that would be a good gift.  What you
would you like...never know who will read this.  Oh, keep it in the hunting and outdoor category.

Wudstix

Got all things you listed, but can always use more tapered Maple shafts.  Check produce review for a great headlamp.

What would I like:

  • Used, but properly functioning SpinRite cresting machine
  • DarnTough wool socks...love them and can't get enough
  • Another Bitz Jig with right helical clamp
  • Arrow components (.400 gold tips, 100gr inserts, fletchings, heads, etc)
  • a large black beavertail to do a grip wrap and sheath insert with

Other great gift ideas:

  • handmade leathers - gloves, tabs, arm guards, quivers, etc
  • targets
  • bows (sometimes used bows can be found for ~$100 or less)
  • shooting coaching/instruction
  • game processing equipment - meat hooks, knives, grinders, dehydrators, Foodsavers
  • clothing/camo
  • boots
  • memberships/subscriptions - Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, NRA, Tradgang, Traditional Bowhunter Magazine, Primitive Archer Magazine, etc
  • literature - back issues of periodicals and/or a variety of good books
  • hunting trips - doesn't even have to be fancy or expensive
  • fishing equipment/tackle - pretty much everyone I know that likes to hunt doesn't mind a day fishing too
  • knives
  • high performance flashlights

As I've aged, I grown to appreciate consumables as gifts.
A bottle of Good Sippin' Whiskey would be enjoyed for long time.
