Hey guys I live in western Washington and Hunt black tails. what do you guys think is the best 3D Target I should get that's about the right size for black tails? It seems like all these darn targets are tiny which is hilarious because black tails aren't exactly monsters. What should I get?

Following this as well. I shoot broadheads all year and am curious what people recommend that will hold up.

When I read the thread title, I thought I was gonna be opening a thread asking what was our favorite 3D target to shoot at.

I had already prepared my answer in my head as I clicked on the thread:

"My favorite 3D target is whichever one where my arrow lands in the 12 ring!!!"

Sorry, I can't help you out with blacktails, as I have never even seen one in person!!!

Probably my favorite is any of the original foam products by Rhinehart, their deer i would guess is about the exact right size for blacktail.  If you don't shoot broadheads into them, I don't think you'll wear it out, they're awesome.

That would be spelled Rinehart, and I second the motion.

Rinehart has a few different sizes of deer targets. Our club found them to be the longest lasting. They do sell replacement centers as well. I know folks shoot broadheads into their 3D's but they won't last long I don't care who makes it. We had issues with this on our membership range. Some guy would shoot the target in half just because.

In my limited experience, you can't beat a Rinehart. Their cheaper end targets are better than a high end from most companies I've shot.

BlackOut 3d deer target with the self-healing foam,,,it can take some severe punishment. All I shoot is broadheads, Zwickeys.

Consider a Blob target. Shop around, find one similar to the dimensions you want. I put the ol 8 inch pie plate where it looks good.

R&W in Pa  for field points and a Blob for broadheads.  I shoot all year long and the R&W last a long time and they look real. Real deer attack the buck  when antlers are on and try to "love it" without antlers
As we get older our bow weight goes down and our body weight goes up, One of Lifes little jokes.
