Be sure the moisture content is good 6 percent or less. sand the glue surface with at least 60 grit blow it off and glue it.

I just glued up a riser with a black palm flair this evening.
As crooked stick said make sure it's dry!!
And I always stabilize my b/p. It stabilizes quit nicely.
Makes it less brittle and easier to work with. Also adds some strength and some mass weight. I rough mine up with 36 grit before glue up.
An elitist mentality creates discord, even among the elite!
"I went jackalope hunting but all I saw was does!"
Luck is when preparedness meets opportunity, I just need more opportunities!
