Barry Wensel's seminar in Indiana!

Barry Wensel will be putting on his Whitetail Deer Hunting Seminar in West Terre Haute, Indiana on Monday, June 10th at 6:00 pm EST. It will be held at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in the Community Life Center (big pole barn behind the church!). There will be a ham and bean dinner at 5:00 pm EST. Monday evening might seem to be an odd time, but Barry is scheduled at Cloverdale the previous weekend and at  Compton's the following weekend, so my church is hosting him on the 10th to give some more folks a chance to learn from one of the masters and to help Barry fill up some of the "dead space" between other venues. He will have his books and dvds for sale at the seminar. If you think you might be coming, post below so we can be sure to have enough beans and cornbread and plenty of tables and chairs set up. Yes, I think I am but it's not confirmed yet. I'll post something on here listing the towns I'll be at once the dates are confirmed. One of the biggest problems is juggling these people's schedules. I'm having a hard time getting them to call back. When I tell them there's no charge to them or the attendees they don't call back because they think there's a "catch." I've had two different stores tell me that. No catch or hidden agenda. A free two-hour seminar on whitetail hunting strategies/ techniques will draw customers to the host facility; the attendees are happy because it's free. The only thing I ask is for the host store/club to promote it locally via their social media/ websites. I even send them colored posters to advertise the show and ask them to hang on their doors/windows and high traffic areas around their town. One day only shows. I also ask to be able to sell my DVDs and books during/after the shows but there's sales pitch or obligation. Everybody wants a Saturday booking. I wish they would book more week days/evenings. Heck I could do one every other night as long as I have time to drive between locations. It's kind of like an author doing a book signing at a book store, other than the fact I'm offering a free 2-hour seminar.

I'm actually trying to keep away from the giant sporting goods stores so as to keep the talks on a more personal level. But then again, I'd like to have stores that have their own seminar rooms (a lot do) or where they can set up folding chairs in their indoor archery lanes. I need about 150 attendees to make it work for me. I'll just about guarantee you'll walk away a better whitetail hunter. I just don't want to take all my whitetail hunting secrets to the grave with me    Hope to see you down the road. Thanks. bw
