Annual St Jude’s Kayak Trip—2019 Edition—Bisch and Michele

Bisch and his wife got into town Thursday night in preparation for the St Jude's Kayak Trip that he purchased on the tradgang auction last spring.  I have had the privilege of hunting and fishing with Bisch in the past and consider him a friend.  His wife, Michele, proves the adage that bow hunters tend to marry up.  I was hoping to show them a great time.  The first day on the Silver River did not disappoint.

We saw tons of turtles including this 40 plus pound snapping turtle.

It was a great first day! Today we will be fishing the Ocklawaha River.  More pictures to come.

Day 1 is in the books, and I couldn't have asked for a better vacation or host!!!! Neither of us have ever been in a kayak before, and we are having a ball! Getting ready for Day 2 as I type. Thanks again my friend, for donating this trip!!!

And you are correct, she did marry up!!!!!

Doing great here Gregg!  I need to get in on this trip with my son, looks like a blast! 

I'd ask if Bisch was behaving himself, but since Michelle is there I know he is!

One of the best trips you could ever go on. Gregg, Rene and family are mighty fine folks. I look at the pictures of Pam and my trip there a few years back often, with very fond memories.
