Hello..what kind of screws do I need for my bow latch and where can I get them..
Thanks
Mike

Don Armstrong

Never done a latch but l would use stainless steel inserts, like l have used in takedown recurves. Would go with grade 8 bolts, probably 1/4-20 or 5/16-18 if grip was big enough. JMHO, Don

I never thought of using inserts..i thought about drilling all the way through and using nuts and bolts.  Counter sink the nuts and fill the holes with body putty.  I have read titanium screws would work but i dont know where to get them or what size to get

Tim Finley

I don't know what type of latch you are using but the ones I used  the screws  were a #10 stainless if I remember right.

I used epoxy when doing inserts in takedown recurves. A 10-32 grade 8 bolt should work. If l had room, l would go with 1/4-20 if possible. I like to overkill everything if possible :biglaugh: Don
