Zwickey shooters, how do you get your field points to match your zwickeys in point weight? I also know that these run heavy but also come very blunt. If I were to buy the 135 grain eskilites, which people say average in at 145, would it be safe to say I could tune and shoot with 145 grain field points? what about for screw-in eskimos and no mercies?

By the time you get them sharpened they'll be closer to 1:35. Are you shooting on Woods or with an adapter and screwing them in?

Oh, is there any specific reason you want to shoot the eskilites?

Screw in to carbons. No reason for the eskilites, just an example off the top of my head. I'm looking closely at the no mercy broadheads but I can't find any target points that match in weight.

I shoot 125gr field points. My Eskilites fly no different. The Eskimos and Deltas w/adapter fly great with just bit of drop at 20yd.

I don't worry about it at normal bowhunting ranges.

I shoot the 135 grain zwickey broadheads and they fly just like the 145 grain field points I tune with. Are you using tip orings to align the broadhead horizontally not vertical ?

145 grain field points for screw in Eskilites.....same with Eskimos.

No Mercy ....165 grain head...175 grain field point.

There use to be some washers you could use to fine tune them pretty close...

But you probably will never shoot the difference in 10 grains....

And, if 10 grains effects your spine...that'sa great sign....

That will let you know that you are borderline on spine and allow you to fix that.
