Asbell pathfinder question

Hey y'all,
So I was wanting to get a Pathfinder pullover and was just curious what weight y'all use and which would be the best one to look at. I do a lot of spot and stalk out here in montana and a good bit of stand hunting too. I was thinking the medium/heavy but I also see a lot of extra heavy weight as well. Would that be too hot or no?

Georgia on a bad day is generally much milder than Montana on an average winter day, so my experience may not help much. I use medium weight, because with layering, I can adjust to just about any weather we have. I definitely recommend a wind breaking layer underneath

Wisconsin here, and I haven't tried the pathfinder, but own a few zippered jackets. I usually go for heavy to blanket weight. The heavy with a tshirt underneath is comfortable in the 40s-70s if on stand. I've gone on -20 degree wind chill days with the blanket weight, a down vest, and a wool base layer underneath for a couple hours at a time. Nothing is comfortable at that temp, but it kept me from being numb and still able to move around.

Medium heavy with layering has worked for me when hunting spot and stalk in the UP of Michigan, my Pathfinder is a heavy weight wool that I use with light layering during mid to late season here, and can put extra under it for late season. I have been very happy with the wool I have gotten from the Asbells.

My blanket-weight pathfinder is very warm. I can stillhunt in it at zero degrees all day if I wear 4 long-sleeved polyester t-shirts underneath. It's really cozy. One of those long-sleeve tees and I can stay just right at about freezing temp. Very good pull over.

Anyone know were the "Blanket" weight falls in the lightest to heaviest scale?

I believe it's the heaviest.

Like mentioned above, Blanket weight is the heaviest they offer.

Awesome!!! Great info. How's the fit on them? I'm a pretty small guy . 5'6 and 150lbs. Was thinking the medium should do and have enough room to layer?

They are oversized for layering. I normally wear a large, and mine are all size large besides a xlarge I bought used. I also have a vest which I wanted tighter so I ordered a medium, fits like a normal large.
