Well I've been hauling my butt around the course for 3 miles a morning with 40# pack for a couple of months.  Gear is kicked into a pile, list made and checked twice.  Tomorrow Steve our new guy in camp this year is coming by to get his gear checked and packed.

Got 17 dinners for three prepared and dehydrated and making jerky today.  It's hard to not stop and dream about it.

Two weeks and we are on our way north.

Who else is having trouble sleeping?  LOL

My trip is only going to be whitetail in the Florida panhandle... but I am pretty itchy. Of course my season doesn't start til Oct 20.

I suspect I will have a little trouble getting to sleep tonight, I leave tomorrow morning for a week in the Maine woods for a chance at a bear. I am ready to go!!!!

No real "trips" for me. I'll be heading up to my place in East Central WI. for the deer opener on 9/15. It will be #51. Never missed an opener yet ! Good luck and stay safe on all your trips.

John and I are both shooting the new UL mountain riser and RCTX limbs.  51 pounds on the fingers.  I think both of us are using the Solid 125 broadheads also.

Bow is tuned.  Going to fletch some new arrows tomorrow and also check my grouse arrows out.  Got a package from 3R yesterday.

I'll start packing this week for bear in Ontario.  It is going to be a very  special trip.

Mike,
Best of luck to you and your group.  I'm looking forward the pictures and your recounting of the adventure.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
