Southern Plains Traditional Championship is the kick off to the McAlester AAP hunts. Weather is looking great. Aug 4-5. find them on FB Backwoods Bowhunters of Oklahoma.

Looking forward to seeing y'all again & meeting Crittergitter. This is probably gonna be the last organized 3D shoot that I get to go to this year. Should be a great one (and looks like it's gonna be cooler than usual by about 10-15°!)

I checked the Facebook page and it doesn't look like anything has been posted for over a year. Does anyone have any additional info on this shoot? I know it has bounced around from being on base, and off base, so any details are appreciated.

Just double checking, but is anything special needed to get on base? Or do you just show up and let them know you're there for the archery shoot? Thanks in advance.

Just go to the main gate and tell them you are there for the bowshoot at Murphys Meadow
