The wait begins!

I just ordered my first custom bow (that I didn't buy used that is). Decided to support a fellow Mississippian and go with a Black River.

Well actually my wife ordered it! The bow will be my 30th birthday present so she wanted to surprise me with the wood choices and other bells and whistles. She knows me quite well though so I'm sure her and Will will come up with a great combo. I simply gave her the specs: recurve, 58" and 58lbs@28". I'm pumped!

You made an excellent choice! I have 4 of his bows! There fast and the finish work is 2nd to none! Eye candy for sure! The bows perform every bit as good as they look! My favorite is his hybrid take-down..!

I've got one of his hybrids and love it. I'm thinking about ordering a set of recurve limbs for it.

It's the hybrid. These are very nice bows. Enjoy.
