So I just finished up bare shaft tuning a new bow and had two different spine arrows to play with. Here's the specs of each one. Which one would you all suggest?

GT trad .500
28 1/4" long
100 grain brass insert
150 grain point
3-4" feathers

516 grain total weight
22.6% FOC
12 GPP

GT trad .400
30.5" long
100 grain insert
200 grain point
3-4" feathers

609 grains total
24.6% FOC
14.1 GPP

Either will do I'm sure, whichever one you shoot better i suppose!

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

What's the draw weight at your draw length?

I'm gonna say the lighter one. Even if you're going after elk. 12 gpp is plenty, and you reach a point of diminishing returns. A little flatter trajectory should help you put the arrow in soft spots more easily.

12 gpp and overall arrow weight of 516 grains is plenty for deer and you'll get flatter trajectory.
