Hey guys just wanted our opinion on something. I apologize in advance I have been having trouble trying to make this post with a photo. But I just recently got a bear take down from the early 2000s. I'm really gold shape. On the bottom limb , where it goes into the limb pocket, here is a small gouge. It is on the bottom of it where the serial number is written. Is this something I should be worried about? Thanks

Assuming I'm visualizing correctly, you're talking the "rail" part where the numbers are. If it's just a divit your fine. I would use some finger nail polish or super glue to fill it.

Having difficulty visualizing.  Is the gouge in the limb base or the metal riser base?  Regardless, it shouldn't be a problem, depending on the size and location of the gouge.

It doesn't look like anything that is a problem.  Put some Poly or Urethane over it to seal out moisture, and it should be ok.

It will be fine.

Jacob, I sent you a PM.
