Bow Quivers on Youth Bows?

I'm hoping to get to ETAR this year and get my six year old daughter set up with her first REAL bow and arrows.  I already know she's going to want a bow quiver "just like daddy".  I'm thinking a simple three arrow EFA quiver might work on a youth bow.  Has anyone done something like this for their kid? How well did the quiver fit and balance on a smaller bow?  Thanks!

Take it for what it's worth.  I wouldn't do it.  Adds another variable to the bow.  Something to add noise and change the balance.  That's just me though.  I've lost count of the bow quivers I've owned, don't own one now.  Just can't make myself like them.

We sell a bunch of youth bows and I agree with LBR not the best idea. But if she insists I believe Selway Has as mall one, and they will be there I believe. Eagles Flight also has a small one that I have seen on our youth bows.

Thanks for the responses! I wouldn't try to force her to use one but I've already had trouble getting her to use a back quiver with her toy bow. She sees mine and can be stubborn about things like this! Bowman, we are definitely stopping by the saint Joe river table to talk. Once she sees your blue youth bows she wont want anything else I'm sure! It's her favorite color!

Provided you find one that is a firm fitting balanced match I see nothing wrong with it. I'm a little biased though as I'm a bow quiver convert 😬 talk to Don at EFA perhaps he'll put your concerns to rest.

 E.F.A makes a nice little small one that is light weight and "If" she doesn't like it you can "Always" find someone who could use it and take off your hands .
  Kids can adapt to just about anything and the E.F.A. quivers are feather weight for sure.
They are the only folks I know of who makes a small bow quiver but sure there may be others.
  I have a daughter we adopted that was born with no thumbs BUT she can pull and shoot a mad dog recurve and always has a smile doing so...They can adapt given the chance so try it she may like it even if others don't !

Both my kids have EFA's on theirs (since they were 4 years old on a black rhino bow.  No different then putting them on an adult bow - once set up properly, they work great.

I'm in the same boat, after Jack was drawn for the Maddog Pup longbow on the 4th of July.  His grandfather, whom recently picked up traditional archery has also taken up leather working.  I've contemplated bow quiver vs. back quiver and am leaning toward the later of the two.  Reason #1 - it's a project my son and I can create together, that can be later adjusted with a longer strap that he, potentially, could have for many years to come.  Reason #2 -  If he's happy with archery, no matter the topic/item of choice, then I'm happy.

I do believe later down the road, at a much greater age (hunting age) we will introduce the bow quiver, as I believe it's more applicable to take to the stand then a back quiver.  The boy likes to shoot... We're going to build a suitcase for arrows that he can carry on his back .

Great Northern used to make a youth model of their bowquiver.  They may still make it.
