I've noticed on a few bows I've shot with laminated risers that over time you can feel a "line" along some of the layers.  (Hopefully that makes sense)  Is that normal or is that a sign of a future problem?

I've had a couple I've built do that, always where wood meets glass or phenolic accents. Wood swells and shrinkss a bit even with good finish. They never caused probs but I don't use much for accents except wood lately. Yours may be something totally different too.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Agreed.  Me too. (for the most part)

Thanks guys.  These are not on bows I've built but on laminated bows either myself or friends have owned.  I was just wondering if they are anything to be concerned over.  I've never had any issue with any of them, just curious.
