new bow for me

Hey everyone I am new to this site it looks great!
I am interested in getting a new bow (take down) and would like some feed back on my current interests. I am looking at a used Bear TD hunter on ebay, numbers listed are 60" 50 # 1349. I am also interested in the possibilty of a Dalaa by DAS. I have been shooting a Bear kodiak magnun (50#) since the mid sixties and am ready to move up to one of these newer better (?) bows. (or maybe even a new Kodiak Magnum) How will these compare to my old bow and to each other. I want the best bow I can get within a reasonable price, (less than a $K, ?) any other sugesstions?

Thom: I've been shooting bows for over 50 years. In all that time I have shot or owned a lot of bows. Two years ago I got a DAS bow for my wife and had to get one for myself. Absolutely the best bow on the market as far as I am concerned. It is the best hunting bow I have ever shot. The Dalaa bow is a special edition DAS bow made for 3 Rivers and most people that have gotten one have put down their other bows because of the improvement in performance over those other bows. 3Rivers sells both the Bear and the DAS Dalaa so if I were you I think I would give them a call and ask them about which bow performs best.
