I have owned several Bear Grizzlies. They have all been 58". Today I picked up a 56" Grizzly in excellent condition. From my research it appears they only made the 56" for a few year in the late 60's. My serial # starts with a K which started in 1970. So would I be right to assume that mine would be one of the last ones made and carried over into 1970?  Anyone info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

56" Grizzlies were made in 1968, 1969, and 1970.   The K prefix for the serial number means it was made in 1970-the others had a prefix that matched the year, i.e. 8=1968, 9=1969.

Phil is correct. I have a '69 Grizzly and it's serial number starts with a 9.
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.
